With Black Friday specials, I bought two 8-element yagis from
Antenna-Amplifiers in Europe for $160/each. DHL rapid delivery from
Serbia cost $118.50. Total for two is $482.12.

that still is a bargain when compared to US mfr's (eg; M2 2m9x at
$361.99 for one antenna before shipping).

Gain is 12.6 dbi so two stacked should be 15.5 dBi. This should add
6-dB to my 2m signal over the ARX-270 vertical I have been using; maybe
even more signal up to Anchorage as it will be higher (45-foot) and
LMR-600 will be used vs current LMR-400 to the vertical.

I decided to retire the old KLM yagis which had to be shortened after my
6m-eme tower crash in August. Neither tested low SWR and mechanically a
bit doubtful for survival. Also KLM design is 30-years old so gain
specs suspect.

Hoping to get them installed within two weeks along with 432/900/1296
yagis on my remaining tower (50-foot Rohn-25G). This will depend on
availability of tower climbers to do the installation.
