Hello group,
Don't forget that this weekend is the ARRL June VHF Contest. Contest activity is usually light here, so I've started pairing roving with Parks on the Air activations. On Saturday and Sunday I'll be activating a few different park units.
I'll be working everyone I can on as many bands as possible, but you can always find me when I circle back to 146.52 FM. That will be the best place to listen.

I will have my IC-9700 and my Yaesu 891 with me. Bands and modes available:

- 6 M: SSB, FM, FT8
- 2 M: SSB, FM, DSTAR (145.67), FT8
- 70 cm: SSB, FM, DSTAR (445.67)
- 23 cm: SSB, FM, DSTAR (1294.5)
The route I have planned is posted here:
https://kl7vhf.org/special-events/contests/2022-contests/#june_vhf

After the start at 1000 timing will vary a bit, so the best thing is to keep an ear on the radio. A POTA activation needs ten contacts to count, so once I get ten contacts I'll keep working stations until the activity dies down, and then immediately head to the next site.

Also, I believe that Hudson Spillers, KL4LJ, is going to be out attempting his first ever SOTA activation on the Butte. Keep an ear out for a small Ht station early in the day, around the start of the contest.
73,
Brandon
