Also, note that the CQ VHF Contest begins at 1800 utc (10am local) on 
Saturday until 2100 utc (1pm) Sunday.  CQ VHF Contest is one of the last 
opportunities for working summer 6m Es (sporadic-E) skip into the 
lower-48.  50.125 for SSB or 50.313 for FT8 are best frequencies to

I will probably check things on Sunday and call on 50.313 (mostly 
beaming SE for West Coast Activity) running 1000w on FT8!
