Net will begin tomorrow at 9:30am on 144.200 USB. At 10:00am the
January ARRL VHF Contest begins so the net will end then. Most begin
the contest calling on 144.200. That frequency also works well to
coordinate working on other bands.
Contest ranges from 6m all the way to mw. In SC Alaska 50-1296 is most
worked bands. You can use any mode for making contacts including FM
simplex (Use of repeaters not allowed for contacts but you can spot
stations via repeaters or invite stations to work on a simplex freq.
Thee is even a award for all FM.
Around noon several stations may be on 50.313 using FT8 to work long
range for more grids. Gird squares give you multipliers on your score.
KL7BSC and I may also try psk31 on 50.250.
I will be QRV:
50.125 USB & 50.313 FT8
144.200 USB & 144.52 FM
223.50 FM
432.200 USB & 446.00 FM
At this point I do not have 900 or 1296 operational, but may able to get
1296.100 USB running later in the weekend.
