[AK-VHF] vhf contest

Good morning guys,

That sounds like a fun idea. I have a pretty decent shot north, especially in the winter when the trees are mostly bare. I've been running a lot of FT8 on HF lately, so switching to 6 M is easy enough.

Should we plan on noon to 1 for the "Fairbanks connection" (weather permitting)?

We could plan it for noon or 1, after you guys get warmed up with some local contacts. Anyone with a yagi and 100w should be doable, especially if they have a relatively unobstructed view north. If this sounds good, I'll get back to you mid-week when I see the weekend wx forecast.
