[AK-VHF] Fwd: [RMG] [DFWContest] FW: [PVRC] Solar Cycle 25 progress :-)

For those hopeful of a good solar cycle max of 2025 this is looking good
for possible F1 & F2 ionospheric propagation on 6m during the max.

Hasn't been any of that for AK in many years. 10m may be open
world-wide and some long distance DX on 6m.

Check what I was working 1998-2001 with only 100w and 3-element yagi:
http://www.kl7uw.com/6M-LOG.pdf

My new 1200w HF/6m amp will be handy if that happens.

hope the image forwards OK

For those interested in Solar Cycle 25 HF propagation, it looks like the
Scott McIntosh team's SC25 prediction is running circles around the NOAA
consensus prediction. Check out this chart. The red line is the McIntosh
forecast, the light blue line is the NOAA prediction line. The black
line is the observed sunspot number. The future of SC25 is encouraging
at this point in the cycle.____

McIntosh, Deputy Director of NCAR will be doing another Zoom
presentation for the Front Range 6 Meter Group on March 23 at 7PM MT,
9P EST. I will post the URL as we get closer to that date. All of their
earlier presentations are available for viewing on YouTube.____
