146.52 FM:  Noise = S3 (ext preamp activated); S0 with internal preamp
KL3WF - S7 (but noisy) (assumed from his shop)
KL7XJ - S9 (S3.5 internal preamp)
KL6M - S7/8 (S3 internal preamp)
external preamp is doing the job with lower noise figure and more gain.

223.50 FM:
kl7XJ - 2bars
KL6M - 1/2 bars
224.94 rptr  3bars

Experienced 2m cutting out and determined the TE-1410g was too hot and 
shutting down.  Need a fan to cool it for FM use.
