Net report:
146.52 FM:
KB7FXJ - S6 (with S5 noise level; normal noise level is S3)
KL7XJ - S8 (Dale is only 14 miles from me)
KL7RHJ - S5 (Bill lives in Kenai)
KL3WF - S6 (good copy but was having trouble hearing me)
KL6M - S6 (mike commented I was stronger earlier: I had been
transmitting with two KLM 11-element yagis with 60w)
I switched to transmitting with my four yagi eme array (at 100w) when
talking with KL7XJ.
I switched back to the two KLM yagis:
KL6M - S5 (on my FT-736R with no preamp) Mike said I jumped up to
over S9 from something like S6 or 7, which is surprising since eme
array has easily 3-dB more gain.
Pondering this it could be the fact the KLM SWR is best at 146.5 vs
eme array is about 3:1 at 146.52. The antennas are mounted on
separate towers about 170-foot apart (hot spot?).
KL7JHR - S6 on eme array, S2 on FT-736R with KLM yagis (Dennis is in
Clam Gulch 37 miles south off back of both antennas).
Next week net will be on 144.200 USB.
