[AK-VHF] RSVP: 6 Meter Antenna Test on Tuesday Evening

To obtain true circularity in linear-pol, mount
two dipoles at right angles (both horizontal) and
feed them thru a splitter with one dipole with
1/4 wavelength more coax. This produces circular
pol aiming straight up but omni horizontal
pol. Its called a "turnstyle" antenna. Quite a
favorite for working satellites as well as local stations.

The famous "egg-beater" antennas are trunstyle loop antennas.
