Thanks, Paul.
Your e-mail came in at 5:32 AK time (dinner time and news time) so
now seeing it three hours later. Late as usual - story of my life.
And if all the activity is FT8 then I would miss it. Tried getting
FT8 going on Sunday but the computer is not getting Rx audio. I have
mono patch cords and stereo patch cords but no stereo to mono cords;
plan to cut up the existing cables to make conversion
cables. Line-out of my K3 has both main (left-chan) and sub-receiver
(right chan) audio on a stereo jack and he computer has a mono mic
input. Ditto for computer speaker output (stereo) and K3 input
(mono). Hopefully will work when I am done butchering the
cables. Hopefully I did not short out things with using the wrong flavor.
If successful I plan to monitor 50.313 for FD (at home).
