Net begins at 9:30am on 144.200 USB. I will be using my 17-foot long
vertical antenna as the yagi array is "blowing in the
wind". Currently facing almost West (Anchorage is NE). I will have
223.50 FM monitoring simultaneous for anyone wishing to check in via
the 222 band.

The cold-clear weather will probably cause an inversion layer which
may enhance propagation on VHF.

Next weekend is the ARRL VHF Contest which begins at 10:00 am on
Saturday. Brandon-KL7BSC will be operating as a rover from four
grids ending up in Kenai at end of the day. Sunday at 11:00 am
Brandon will be conducting a workshop on APRS in Kenai at the
Paradosis Restaurant (meeting room in back). Sunday Brunch or meals
off the menu are available. See details at www.qsl.net/ak-vhf
