Hello group,
Just a reminder that we are holding our _Digital Modes on VHF Workshop_
/this Saturday/, from /11:00-1:00/ at the /Old Seward
Gallo's//restaurant/ (by Sportsman's Warehouse) in Anchorage.
There is a flyer at the link below:
https://www.qsl.net/ak-vhf/Digital_Workshop_Flyer.pdf
We already have about ten people confirmed attending, so it should be a
really fun afternoon. _Please forward this email to anyone else who
might be interested!_ There are still a lot of people who are not on
this reflector or included in our email list. Help get the word out!
For the workshop I'm going to have *two* full stations set up: computer,
interface and radio. We will be able to play around with FLDIGI,
APRSIS32, and WSJT-X right there in the room. And best of all, we will
be covering how to get everything set up!
COM ports, Device Manager, USB audio codec . . . we will be covering
*all* of that. Getting the pieces connected and working together is
always the toughest part of digital, so if you've had trouble before
this is your chance to learn how to set it all up.
See you there,
Brandon Clark, KL7VHF
VP, Alaska VHF-Up Group
