Looks like a good turnout. With all the snow coming down I decided against
heading up to Glen Alps. Wanted to be sure I could get back, lol.
Did have some good radio fun yesterday though. Went out to do my first
Parks on the Air activation and test some new gear. I set up at the
entrance of Willow Creek State Recreation Area and ran HF for about two
hours.
Running 50-80 watts I was able to make about 30 contacts across the us.
Farthest ones were FL, NY. I called for a bit on 40 M, but didn't get any
bites there so spent the rest of the time on 20 M. All in all a good test.
