 Howdy, Folks -
There was some concern recently among members of the club about using satellites in the June VHF Contest. I asked the ARRL Contest Chairman, Paul, N1SFE, to respond to that. His response can be seen below.
I hope all members of AVG who participated send in their entries for the contest. Showing activity in Alaska helps promote weak-signal activities.

 No, satellite operation is not permitted, as that would be a crossband contact, and would qualify as using a repeater as well.
