Paul,Sorry to hear you're stepping down. Thanks for your service as Contest Chairman! Your 60 years as a licensed ham provides invaluable experience for advice sought and questions answered over the years. Glad to know you'll still be involved with AVG. Hope to find you again on 6 during my next PNW rove.

Hello, all!
I have decided to step down from being Contest Chairmanof AVG. Brandon, KL7BSC, has stepped up to become a
vice president of the club and is taking care of theEvents Calendar. The events calendar, to which there isa link on the main AVG page, contains listings of allupcoming contests. There is no need to have two separatelistings for contests.
Brandon approached me recently to discuss how he mightcontribute to club activities. I liked very much what hetold me and I was impressed with his enthusiasm. So, I'mglad that he took on listing of the contests on the clubEvents page.
I am going to continue to be a member of the Board ofDirectors and I'll continue to take care of issuingclub awards.
I hope you can find time to participate this weekend in
the CQ World Wide VHF Contest. I know the Kenai Hamfesthas also been scheduled for this same weekend.
All the best,
Paul, K7CW / VE7IB
