Sorry, but satellite contacts not allowed (are considered assisted in
same sense that repeaters do). Also no aviation mobile is allowed,
but ship mobile is fine as long as located inside a grid with land
included. The whole point of the VHF contests is to test
point-to-point communication over distance (thus use of grid counting
in the score). If your station is remote controlled using internet I
guess you use the grid square of the transmitter location. Remote
base seems more of an HF thing at this point.
Still got some soldering to get done before 9:30am.
