The net will begin at 9am and go until 10am on 144.200 USB.
I will simultaneously monitor 223.50FM
2m rotator temp disconnected for install of new digital tracking
system - hopefully operational next week.
I will be installing a new M2 440-18,18-element 432 yagi, at the
54-foot level inside my 2m-eme array next week. I will install a 432
preamp and TR relay in the tower-top equipment box as I have an
unused coax run for Rx back to the house. Probably only get 40-50%
of the 100w signal to the antenna. Antenna is 420-452 MHz wideband
design so gain is only 16.6 dBi (equivalent to 12-element NB
yagi). 11ft-4in long. Should be usable for both SSB and FM ends of
the UHF band.
My old M2 420-450-11 has high SWR so will abandon use (located at
58-foot of tower#2). Not worth rental cost of 60foot bucket to
change out. Only other antenna is VHF/UHF 17-foot vertical at
20-foot with 11 dBi gain and no preamp fed by 80-foot of LMR-400
(Repeater Antenna).
Should be ready for testing last week of November.
