[AK-VHF] NET: June 10 - 144.200 USB

I extracted my KX3 and KXPA100 from the truck and now installed back
in the shack for use on 6m with 80w. The 6-element yagi is pointed
toward Anchorage and 3-element yagi toward the West Coast (in case of
an opening; this is the time off year that we see sporatic-E openings
so it is quite likely).

I have the four 2m yagis with 130w for use at 144.200 USB or 100w at
146.52 FM. I used different radios for these two frequencies which
require manual changing of several coax lines (so its not a quick
process to switch).

I have a BCM-220 running 30w to two 11-element yagis on 223.50 FM.

And run 100w on either 432.200 USB or 446.00 FM on a 11 dBi vertical

Not going to try operating 927.5 FM or 1296.100 USB this time (28v PS
for 50w amps is removed at this time).

Net will start at 9am tomorrow and I will have the FT-736R running
30w on 146.52 FM on the dual-band vertical (probably only good for
working stations on the Kenai Penin).
Main net operation will be on 144.200 USB with the large 2m array.

Contest starts at 10am and contacts on CW/SSB/FM/digital are allowed
(but not packet or use of any repeaters). All bands 50-MHz and up.
146.52 and 446.00 are allowed for use in the contest so may be a good
place to find new folks to work.

If 6m opens for DX, expect all activity to be there as long as
conditions exist. There have been several opening in the last two-three weeks.
See suggested calling freq: http://www.qsl.net/ak-vhf/
plus contest rules (which we can discuss during the net).

Please spread the word of the contest!
