[AK-VHF] NET: Sat Jan 28 - 146.58 FM

My noise floor on 146.58 FM was S3 driven by my preamps and four 
ten-element yagis.  I transmitted 110w on FM.

Good discussion and a question was taken around the group for opinion 
about moving the FM Net to 146.52 instead of using 146.58.  Pretty 
much universal agreement to make that move in order to attract 
FM-only stations to the Net and the purpose of the AK VHF-Up Group 
which sponsors the net.

On Feb. 25th we will commence with trying this for the last net of 
the month.  Net will run 9:00-9:30am on 146.52 FM and then move to 
144.200 USB until 10:00am unless activity on 146.52 suggests staying 
there.  I will make the change on the AK-VHF website, accordingly.

I would appreciate Anchorage and MatSu club members spreading news of 
this in respective club meetings.
