The net will start at 9am and continue until 10am.

The ARRL January VHF Contest begins at 10am (1900z) which we will go
directly into at the end of the Net. Contest goes until 6:59pm on Sunday.

All bands from 6m - up are good for the contest as are all modes,
including FM and digital as long as no repeater is used.

We recommend some operating frequencies to make it easy to find other
stations in the contest but FM-calling frequencies are allowed.

Go to: http://www.qsl.net/ak-vhf/ for a chart of the recommended
frequencies and info about the contest
http://www.qsl.net/a/ak-vhf//Contests/

four digit grid squares are passed instead of signal reports
Think of the contest in Alaska as a great opportunity to work new
stations and see how far you can make a contact.
I will be on 50/144/222/432 and can try 927.50FM or 1296.100 SSB or FM

Spread the word and join us tommorrow.
