I've removed my station control unit to install the digital az-el
display for my dish, so I have my control cable to the eme array
disconnected. This disables my usual 2m-SSB equipment.
I have connected my KX3-2M via a 60w MOT amp running 30w output to
drive my 150w linear to about 120w on 144.200. Not sure if the MOT
amp will operate linearly for SSB so might have to switch to FM in
that case (on 144.200).
The four eme yagi are connected thru the TR relays by default with no
control voltage, but tower top preamps will not be powered. I will
only be able to use the internal preamp in the KX3 so my normal Tx
signal will be slightly lower and my hearing ability hampered.
I expect to have the control panel back in service by Sat. May 28.
