The net will start at 9:00am on 144.200 USB.

I was successful restringing my winch cable onto the 2m-eme tower by 
using the old cable as leader.  Tonight, I made a replacement for the 
brake-bar that the Hazer rests upon when raised.  The old brake was a 
5-inch x 1-inch bar of aluminum 1/4-inch thick, which cracked in half 
when the tower fell.  Apparently the brake release cord went slack 
when the Hazer fell so the brake-bar was set.

I made the new bar from steel.  Now something else will break if the 
cable fails.  I have a new bright yellow hard hat from Home Depot so 
we can see how well it survives <smile>  I haven't installed it as I 
painted it tonight.  If up early enough I may get it installed in 
time to raise the array to 30-foot like last week.  If not then I 
will only be using the ARX-270 vertical for the Net.

No time to work on 1296 or 900 systems.  I may get some time this 
weekend for that.
