[AK-VHF] September VHF Contest

Hello Everyone!

Well, the summer is going by pretty fast. For some, it's a good thing. For others, it's not long enough.

Whatever... Time to start getting ready for the September VHF contest. It's coming pretty soon, like the 10th of September, only two and a half weeks away. Set aside some time to make some contacts in the contest and please send in your submission. My announcement is in it's regular place at

Think about getting some of your HF friends to load up their 40m dipoles to give you a contact. If their rigs have 50 MHz capability, they probably also have an internal antenna tuner that can be used to good effect.
