Late night Saturday:

Good turnout for the Hamfest (approx the same number as last year).

Nice to see WL7AU with a lot of Rick Marvin's gear to sell for
Lil. I bought the CE5 Cushman which is good condition. It will find
use for tune-up of the transverter kits I am building and general use
in the shack. Another item was a 3.4 GHz TVRO downconverter board
kit. Not sure what I will do with it but being in the 3.4-GHz band
it might find some use.

Next Saturday the Net will resume with FM-simplex on 146.58 (last
weekend of the month). I can operate the FT2400 with my 150w amp
thru the 4-yagi eme array without need for the control panel, though
I hope to have the new unit finished be then.

Had frost on my truck windshields this morning with 32F temps - summer's over!
