Nice turnout:
Wx is windy with up to 15mph easterly gusts; 35F at net time - but
had a skiff of snow on the ground in Nikiski, yesterday.
WL7AU - S9+
KL7DR - S6 but Q5 with 50w to a vertical - had trouble hearing my 150w?
KL7XJ - S7 (off the back of the array)
WL7XQ - S9+10
KL6M - S9+15
KL4E - S9+5
KL7UW Rx noise floor - S5
Good signals in spite of windy wx.
Subjects ranged from recent travels to conferences, and KL6M's return
to eme on 13 & 9cm, to KL7UW's reception of the 4M spacecraft fly-by
around the Moon using JT65 digital signals on 145.980 MHz. KL6M
reported that UHF prop was better than 2m during the week with his
working a station in Cooper Landing using KL7GRM crossband repeater
on 445.48FM-70 Hz PL.
Next weekend it the first of two weekends of the ARRL EME Contest
which will occupy KL6M and KL7UW, but time will be taken for the net
using 146.52FM. See you then :-)
