Thanks for the "heads-up"! Only three days to get ready.

Unfortunately, I am very busy getting a contract kit out the door to
a customer. And then I need to replace my Triode Board and calibrate
the meters, bias, and over-limit settings to get it QRV with the
2m-8877 to operate eme next week (soon to be revealed big deal event).

Sooo....I down scaled my contest plans to operate six bands at home
on Saturday, and (If my KX3 2m transverter module gets delivered by
Friday pm) to make a 6m&2m roving trip to Homer's Diamond Ridge
(1100-feet ASL) with clear view of Chugach Mtn Hillside above
Anchorage 150-mi to the north. That will be 11am on Sunday for an
hour or until the calling ends. The grid is BO49, which is
relatively rare on VHF, as Homer lies on the other side of the ridge
and in the radio shadow of stations to the north.

This is posted on http://www.qsl.net/ak-vhf along with a link to the
contest info & rules provided by Paul.
