The net will be held on 146.52 FM this weekend.
I will be running 120w to single 11-elem yagi at 45-feet point toward
Anchorage.
I replaced an IC in my 432 transverter and have better sensitivity
(still using my 12 dBi collinear vertical). I added my old Gasfet
preamp from 1996 which was designed for weak-signal reception of the
Mar Global Observer beacon on 437.1 MHz. I assume most of you are
closer than Mars ;-)
Wx to be very nice Sunday so thinking to get up the tower to fix
wiring and restore use of preamps on 222 & 432 plus check cables on
432 antenna (perhaps install another antenna). I plan to remove the
inline switched 2m preamp to repair it (blown gasfet). Also
re-install anemometer that came back from mfr replaced under
warranty. Nice summer wx is probably going to disappear soon for the
rainy season.
