Howdy Folks -

The 2014 CQ World Wide VHF Contest is coming up on the weekend of the 19th of July. Check out the announcement on the AVG Contests page: <http://www.qsl.net/a/ak-vhf/Contests/> .

 
Also, a reminder to get you logs for the ARRL June contest submitted by July 16.

As an aside - There was a big 50 MHz double hop coast-to-coast opening along the northern lower-48 states yesterday afternoon and evening. We hope propagation conditions will continue to be good today. Keep those receivers tuned to 50 MHz in case there is some DX action today.
