Good Net, today!
KL7XJ (Soldotna) - S9 on FT-2400
NL7PW (Clam Gulch) - barely copyable with eme array at az=110?
WL7XQ - S8 on FT-2400/S7 on eme array?
KL6M - S8 on FT-2400/S8 on eme array? Noted strong signals from
KL7XJ and hearing 146.91 Diamond Ridge RPTR.
AL2B (Kenai) - S8 on FT-2400
KL4E/mobile not heard
KL4E/home - S8 on FT-2400/S7 on eme array?
KL1CU - in the noise
WL7AU - no copy
I brought up the 146.91 RPTR with the single yagi pointed toward
Anchorage using 28w.

Strange conditions where I was hearing stations better on the single
yagi/FT-2400 than the eme array.
After net I investigated and found high SWR on the eme array. Trees
are all frost-coated so I suspect the eme array may also be frosted,
affecting performance. Wind typically clears this so I will check
this later. This is the second occurrence this winter and I
attribute it to the strange warm/cold wx we have experienced this winter.

I listened for a moment on 80m and 20m and found my SWR shifted on
both bands (two separate antennas and a totally different radio).

Next Saturday:
Net will start with check-in on 146.52 followed by 144.200 after ten
minutes; Net will lead into the contest at 10am!
The ARRL has added a new FM class to the contest:
