Musing over what to do for the VHF Contest coming in two weeks, I
decided not to try roving to Diamond Ridge (BO49). Instead I will
concentrate on getting the home station ready to work 6m-23cm.

This will entail installing my 3-element 6m yagi on tower#2 at about
20-feet so it can be manually pointed to Anchorage or to az=115 to
the west coast.

My 432 preamp needs to be checked for proper operation (mounted at
30-feet on tower#2). It may need a new dc control cable run.

I have a 100w MOT 900-MHz amp that requires some repair and
modification and installation on tower#1 with three coax
relays. This requires lowering the 2m-eme array to the ground. I
might also install my 1296 60w PA at the same time. I have been
keeping it in the shack with thoughts to install it at the dish for
initial 1296-eme. 1296-eme is not going to be QRV until after I quit
working at Walmart (last day will be June 21st).

So if I can accomplish all these tasks on the four day weekend
(May30-June2) coming up:

50-MHz: 125w - 3 elem at 20-feet
144-MHz: 150w - four 10-elem yagis at 52-feet; on eme 1300w
223.5-MHz: 100w - two 11-elem yagis at 60-feet
432-MHz: 20w - 11-elem yagi at 58-feet
927.5-MHz: either 100w or 7w - 33 elem loop-yagi at 50-feet
1296-MHz: either 60w or 6w - 45 elem loop-yagi at 54-feet

I will have the K3 and KX3 in use so two bands may simultaneously be monitored.
K3 is usable on all bands
KX3 on 6m or 2m.

I have June 8 and 9 off work so can operate the whole contest period
(Alaska time: 10am Saturday to 7pm Sunday).
I hope this will encourage lots of participation. The AK-VHF Net
will meet 9am Saturday before the beginning of the contest.
