[AK-VHF] NET: Saturday, 9am, 146.52FM

The net this week will be held on 146.52 FM simplex.  This an 
opportunity for stations with only FM rigs to participate.  Many may 
not have high power or high-gain antennas so listen for strong local 
stations to check-in with.  I will be running about 110w to four 
yagis at 52-feet but they are not optimum this high in the 2m band.

Next weekend Feb. 16 and 17 is the special SSB-EME Fun 
contest.  Several of the really large stations on eme will be running 
SSB instead of CW.  432 will be featured on Sat. and 1296 on 
Sunday.  I am working on having my dish ready for the 1296 segment 
(may only be RX as my time is short this week; work TWThFSt).
