[AK-VHF] January VHF Contest Announcement

Howdy, All!

It was time to do some editing of the club Contests page, so I took the opportunity to list the announcement for the ARRL January VHF Contest.  I know, it's only November, but you know how time flies.  It'll be January before you know it.  

BTW, you know the two club awards already have recipients. Sourdough Award No. 1 for 50 MHz went to K7CW, while Nos. 1 and 2 for 144 MHz went to NL7OW and KL7UW, respectively.  Pathfinder Award No. 1 for 50 MHz went to NL7HJ and No. 1 for 432 MHz went also to NL7HJ.  Ed, KL7UW, and I got together to design the awards and they are nice looking, if I do say so myself. HI.  Taking part in the January contest would be a good way to work towards earning some of these awards.
