Ed,
All my Home QTH antennas have been pulled down already, in preps for
leaving the state in Mid-June.
We have a buyer's contract established already, with a closing date of
mid-June. We'll be leaving permanently by NO LATER THAN June 21, 2012
provided all home-sale proceedings go as planned.
Presently only have MOBILE radio capabilities left, so no net participation
most likely between now and the time we leave for good. Still ride 147.27
repeater while in the mobile though.
Have LOTS of stuff to sell before we get packed out by movers. Have a 5
bedroom house full of stuff to sell off.
Have gear for
Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Clamming, HAM Radio, Lawn Care,
Radio-Control modeling, etc.
Furniture, Electronics, Work-Bench Tools, Automotive Supplies, etc.
73s!!

Missed you on the Net, today.
checked in:
KL7XJ
KL3JI
KL7JHR
KL7RHJ
maybe one other callsign by relay that I didn't get logged.
Interesting 2m-prop as KL3JI was not full-quieting with a 5w HT from Chugach
SP on the hillside. Neither KL7XJ or KL7JHR could copy Shannon. I suspect
he may have been above an inversion layer. Shannon reports he has a new
"Arrow" 4-ele VHF/10-ele UHF yagi and will use it during the VHF Contest
June 9/10. I encouraged him to try it next time we have the Net on FM (May
26).
KL7XJ and KL7UW made a test of Ed's new 432 transverter with no signals
heard in either direction? The transverter runs 17w and was tested on a
12-dB station vertical (17-foot long) and a 26-element satellite yagi. Dale
was using his satellite yagi.
The unit is sold to W3HMS so Ed may only have it a few more days. Ed has
another identical transverter kit to build which will be his. Ed has issues
with his 11-ele UHF yagi 58-feet on tower#2 so not available today. It will
be fixed before the June contest.
Dale has a new mobile 222 rig so look for him on this band. Dale also
acquired a new HF radio with 6m for full power.
Ed is in process of installing a freq synthesized LO in his extra 2m
transverter to enable use for the entire 144-148 MHz. Current use is
limited by 28-30 MHz IF to the lower two MHz. The synth will provide two LO
freq: 116 and 118 MHz to enable full band use.
KL7UW is unable to work repeaters >147 MHz in the interim.
KL7UW has been getting a HT600 UHF 5w radio ready for use on 446.00 MHz with
addition of battery eliminator, speaker-mic and ext antenna adapter.
Currently no UHF amplifier is available for use with it. The HT600 is a
6-channel programmable radio and has 445.450 and several duplex freq
installed (maybe some for Anchorage). No ability to program radio without
sw or program cables.

Thanks for the update. I was over on 144.2 USB making calls. Lots of
Tyler's graduation stuff going on, so up late last night. Will QSY now to
146.52 FM, and hope to work you on 147.27 enroute to airport in a few
minutes
dropping off graduation visitors.
