Hello Everyone -

This is just a reminder that one of the big four VHF contests is fast approaching. It's the ARRL 2012 January VHF Sweepstakes. Here's a chance to exercise those vocal cords and blow the dust off the morse key. Take some time from your other activities to make some contacts. Invite your ham friends who have VHF capabilities built into their HF rigs to pass out some contacts and maybe join the club. When submitting your log, don't forget to state that you are a member of the Alaska VHF-Up Group. If you have any questions about the contest, please pass them my way.
