[AK-VHF] NET: Saturday, Dec. 15 - 9am

Making this announcement a little earlier in hope more stations will 
see this with more advance time.

The Net will begin on Sat. Dec. 15 at 9am on 144.200 USB.  I will 
begin the net and hand over Net Control to NL7OW as I must leave for 
work almost immediately.  If KL6M is available, I request he help Tom 
by checking stations in the Anchorage/Valley area.

I am also scheduled to work at 10am on Sat. 22 so will rely on NL7OW 
to handle Net Control.  We will hold that net on 147.33 (+0.6) 
repeater (103.5 Hz tone) similar to the way we held the net in 
November.  If there is no objection to our using this repeater once 
per month on the 4th Saturday we will continue to do this.  Details

I do not know how long my work schedule will have me working at 10am 
on Saturdays.  I hope to arrange something with my manager to return 
to working at 11am-8pm on Saturdays. Dec. 29 would be the first that 
could be arranged.

Note: the January ARRL VHF Contest is on Saturday Jan. 19 - 10am 
until Jan. 20 - 7pm (local time).  This will be here sooner than we 
believe so not too soon to start planning:
