The ARRL VHF Contest is this weekend (Sept. 10/11). The contest
starts at 10am Alaskan time (1800utc) and will follow the AK-VHF Net
which will run 9am-10am Saturday. The net will start up on 144.200
USB and I have my 2m array back in the air with 75w. We can rotate
around the VHF/UHF bands to give everyone a chance to test before the
contest start time.

KL7UW will have:
50.125: 125w + 3-elem yagi (55-feet); 6-elem yagi pointed SW to West Coast.
144.200: 75w + 4x 10-element yagis (58-feet); FM - 146.58
432.100: 25w + 11-element (58-feet); FM - 446.00
1296.100: 6w + 45 loop-yagi (52-feet)

I hope there are a lot of stations active like there was in
June. Please spread the word.
BTW FM simplex is allowed for making contacts (see rules and
suggested operating freq.):

2m-EME:
I will be QRV at 0400utc 9/11/2011 (my Moonrise) running with my new
DEMI 144-28 50w transverter driven by the K3. I am getting 1200w
with the 2m-8877. Both Vpol + Hpol preamps are functional. The
transverter is running a couple watts lower than the FT-847, which
drove the 8877 to 1400w. (FT-847 was shipped to Greece,
today). 144.116 - 1st or 144.148 - 1st.

Note the array will be up until Sept. 28 and I will be QRV often.
