[AK-VHF] NET Reminder - SAT 9am

Just a reminder that the AK-VHF Net meets at 9am (local Alaska time) 
on Saturday.

This Saturday the net will be held on 146.52 MHz FM Simplex.  WE hold 
the net once/month on FM to give folks that do not have HF-SSB gear a 
chance to participate.  It also gives folks a chance to see how 
long-distance VHF and Up function.

I will be running 100w to four ten element yagis for a Effective 
Radiated Power (ERP) of 10kW  This is sufficient to work mobile 
radios on simplex up to 100-miles away.  Base stations are easier 
with less antenna and power.
