Morse Code makes a comeback - in Formula One!

Formula One racing driver Jarno Trulli has a problem. He's lost his voice. F1 drivers have to be in constant communication with their team during the race, and today Trulli is driving in the European Grand Prix in Germany. During practice, Trulli has been communicating with Renault engineer Alan Permane in writing when he makes a pit stop, but that isn't sufficient for the actual race. So engineering chief Pat Symonds says that they have devised a form of radio 'morse code'. Exactly how he will send the messages hasn't been disclosed. Taking one hand off the wheel to control a morse key doesn't sound like the safest way to drive a racing car!
