ADXA Folks,
I am very
excited to announce that Craig Thompson, K9CT, will be our
special guest for the ADXA Annual Conference November 14 at
the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock.
Craig has
been a team lead or member of 13 major DXpeditions and
currently serves as President of the Northern California DX
Foundation, a major funding source of DXpeditions.
I am
currently finalizing all arrangements and will have the
conference agenda published and registration open later this
week. PLEASE plan to attend as we have a great program lined
up that includes Steve, W4DTA/YV5DTA presenting on YV0 Aves
Island. Adrian KO8SCA will join us virtually for a live
presentation on Peter 1, and Craig will present on “A DXpeditioner’s
Journey - A look back on 13 DXpeditions” plus a bonus
presentation on station design. In addition we will have a
noon luncheon and presentation of the 2026 DX Hog Award (the
recipient has been selected and will be announced at the
conference).
Please
plan to attend as we need a great turnout for the
conference.
