I confirmed 19 new grids today on LOTW. More expected. I think
I worked eight new countries. I never printed Cyprus. I did
print Montenegro but he never responded to my calls and was gone
in just a few minutes. I have been after six meters since the day
I got on the air. My first Q with an Icom 551D from EN82 with a
wire antenna on my porch was a station in Turks/Caicos. I have
followed six with a passion since then. I have never seen an
opening like this one, the past three days, where the band was
open almost 24 hours each day. Beats every F2 opening we used to
see in the "old days."
If you ever thought about trying out six, this summer seems like
a good time. A three element yagi doesn't have to be very high.
And congrats Dennis on those two. Good work. I also printed
Rick, K5UR and Joel, W5ZN as well as some other ADXA members. UR,
ZN and myself were all on 50.323 vs. 50.313. The latter freq was
just too crowded.

Steve
My 6m DX count was 63 a few days ago...Now I'm at 80 and still have 10 more to get confirmed...Highlight was Cyprus and Montenegro today...Not many operators in those 2 places...
