Debbie, you are wise beyond words.  I learned these things a long time ago.  I call all my brothers on their birthdays, their wives and children and grand-children.  Its a small thing to remember these dates but it counts so much.

Setting the record straight. On Valentine’s Day EVERYTHING ceases! No ham anything, yes I said that, the DX will be on the day before or next day. There is no argument, none, zilch, nada!

Further, dates to be etched on your radio, screen, alarms in your phone, or near your throne are as follows… the above also pertains to these dates, wife or gf, and don’t forget your daughter, daughter-in-law, or granddaughters if you have them! BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY, MOTHER’S DAY (even for her pet, they are people too!), THANKSGIVING, and never mess up CHRISTMAS! 

Remember, if Momma isn’t happy, there will be H*** to pay! I changed it! 😂

Winter fest is normally on the weekend of Valentines Day week. Since the 14th fell on a Saturday, it would have probably caused a disturbance in the "force" if winterfest happened that day. Give it a year, and all will be back to normal.
