Hello y’all,

I’m sure some of you know, or may have used, HamClock (a nice open-source alternative to Geochron). Unfortunately,WB0OEW, who created it, has become SK, and HamClock will stop running after June 2026.

Well, as hams do, a new alternative is already here. OpenHamClock is now available on GitHub. I just downloaded it and installed it on the same Raspberry Pi I’ve been using for HamClock, and all I can say is wow! A heck of a great turnaround by a few hams, for sure.

I’ll also say this — it looks fantastic on my dedicated 42-inch flat screen that I’ve been using for HamClock.
