I stayed at the nursing home for several days during the snow and sleet.  I've been able to come home at night for 3 days, but then got stuck in front of my house.  Absolutely nothing is moving out here, no mail, no UPS, no trash pickup, no Walmart delivery.  All the towing services say they are not going on any icy roads until things thaw.  There is about 3 inches of the slickest ice you have ever seen on the ground.  If I can make it 900 feet to a real road, I can go anywhere, but it's like being stranded on Mars right here.  One neighbor with a tractor scraped the road going toward the outside world and another one with a 4WD is going to try to get the car unstuck this afternoon, so I may be back in business soon.

The good news is that I was able to work KP5/NP3VI on two new band counters - 10 CW and 17 FT8.  I worked them at 1600 this morning on CW and it was verified on Lotw when I checked at 1602.  I only need them on 30 and 160M.  My 160M antenna never got fully deployed, but 30 is possible.

Whatever else life throws at you, just remember......DX IS!
