So sorry to hear the latest.  I think we all assumed Melissa's recovery from this summer's stroke.  Hang in there and forget ham radio for a while.  I'm sorry that our posts are such a tease!

I’ve been “reading the mail” but haven’t been heard from much.  My wife, Melissa, had a second stroke on Dec 23 and is not recovering as well as she did from the first one back in August.   She had a third stroke while in rehab, so her situation is not favorable.    She is still in therapy at Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

While I’m there with her, they feed me well and give me all the coffee  I can drink.  I haven’t figured out an antenna for a QRP CW rig yet.  Maybe I need to order an Elecraft KH-1.  I could walk out into the courtyard and work handheld CW.  Well, I could do that if it wasn’t always forty-eleven below zero…..
