80 meters continues to provide some exceptional propagation during the morning hours beginning around 45 minutes before sunrise (SR) until a few minutes past. SR here this morning is 1315z so around 1215z is when you should start listening.
Today, once again there were several SE Asia stations on including DU, HS, YB, BY and the usual plethora of JA’s and a few VK’s.
This morning we had some special prop to UN, with UN/OH7O in at -10 on this peak. K5EJ and I worked him. Although it wasn’t a new one on 80 for either of us it is an interesting path to the SW via the gray line. Also had RK9AX in there and worked.
9N2NK has been on the past few mornings but no copy here. That would be a new one for me on 80 meters.
