This was somewhat funny, Nick. Your sig was decent but we had horrible QRN Saturday night and there were still S9 pops Sunday evening that would take out one or two letters. I believe I came back to you maybe three times trying to get the call. I finally got WA5BxU and it hit me it was WA5BDU !!!! Thanks for hanging in there and. Coming back to my ?? agn.

It wasn’t human DSP, just a moron running the station trying to work through QRN pops!!! :-)

A 50 year wedding anniversary party for my wife's sister and her husband, in Subiaco, knocked a 25 hour hole in the middle of the contest.

But I did want to try for the ZF5T clean sweep. I spent Friday working on my somehow deficient 134 ft inverted L, so I could switch between straight-through for 160 and matched, for other bands.

40 through 10 were in the bag, so when I finished dinner at 5:45 local, I told Roseann I was going to try the last 15 minutes.  80 meters was pretty quick. But on 160 I got nothing, then ?, then finally 5B ?, and then some human DSP down there decoded my call and we got in the log. Time for some antenna work.

The other highlight, but not really, was hearing my first HV0.  Couldn't get through on day 1 and on day 2, RBN said they hadn't been on for the last 24 hours. I snoozed and lost.

I made about 35 Qs total - hence the rate.

I worked a lot harder chasing the clean sweep in CW SS, but came up one short.  Again!
