While I love to poke fun at Rick (always have), I have to say for this time of day, I don't see many signals that fill out the spectrum scope like his station did!  Well, let me say, I haven't see anyone do that in a long time!   I should have recorded it, but didn't think about it until now.

Thanks for putting up with my lousy sending.  Usually working the POTA and SOTA folks and they stay around 20 wpm and below.  Need to practice more at higher speeds.  Still it was fun to hear you on!

Rick was S9-S9+5.  He said he was barefoot.

I think the problem is that he needs to get the water circulating to cool his amplifier tube down to about 35 degrees and it takes a while to do that.  I told him barefoot for him was 2KW.

Rick was 20 over S9, Stan you were an honest S5 to S7 and building.  Looked at the RBN when you were last on and the hour before you were not going west of Tennessee.

QSO is just above you.  So just listening.  73 de jay..

Rick will call at 55 WPM.

Ha! Love it.

Sorry I missed the time. I've been working on a speech for BVRC today and just saw your email.

I put my 40m Vertical up a while ago.  Below is the RBN from a CQ.  I will get on 7030 from 1:00 CST until 1:10 if anyone wants to call.  There won't be anything other than me listening and looking at an S meter but I will give you signal reports that are true S meter readings so you can see how you do compared to others.

I will send with a paddle and at about 25 WPM. Rick will call at 55 WPM.
