At around 1.5 hours AFTER our SR, 80 meters finally died here. That’s not normal but not unheard of. I was monitoring the FT8 frequency of 3573 KHz because that is where the bulk of the activity was but it is very important to note all of the SE Asia FT8 signals, up until they all disappeared, were audible so CW contacts could have easily been made during the entire opening.
Just like 6-meters, one day’s great prop is no guarantee of a second day but you never know. Just be ready to GET IN THERE and LISTEN, LISTEN LISTEN.
