Speaking of FT-8, last night 6O3T was on 160 meters FT8, the second night they had been on the band since they fired up. I had no copy the first night and I did not see anyone, in NA and only a couple of EU, working them.

Last night I was monitoring remotely from my recliner while watching football and around 0245z, right about their sunrise (SR) I started decoding 6O3T around -20. Over the next 15 mins they peaked to -10 and then faded into their sun (or they stopped because it was daylight) at 0302z. Six NA stations made it in the log but unfortunately, I was not one of them. I need 6O on 160 only. What I was pleased to see is the six NA that did complete were legitimate ops, not running an illegal remote or the BIG remote station up in Maine. Couple of the guys were out in GA and NC.

The SR peak was great, but VERY SHORT. I haven’t seen any info on how much longer they will be in 6O, it’s a sensitive country and things change daily, sometimes hourly. Hopefully I’ll have another shot or two before they QRT, or get QRT’ed.
