This weekend is the second most popular DX contest in the entire world, the CQ World Wide DX Contest – phone. Its second only to the CQWW CW DX contest. You’ve probably already noticed several stations “warming up” the past day or two. I talked to my buddy Ken, K4ZW, down in V4 on 10 meters a while ago. He’s there with Randy, K5ZD and Andy N2NT and will be running V4T.

There will a ton, actually 2 or 3 tons, of DX on the 160-80-40-20-15-10 meter bands starting at 0000z Saturday (that’s tomorrow night at 7 PM local time) through 2359z Sunday. Give a signal report and your CQ Zone. Here in Arkansas, we are in CQ Zone 4, so simply “Five Nine – Four”.

So ADXA folks you know what to do, take a break from your FT8 addiction for the weekend and GET IN THERE and pick up an all-time new one, a new band counter, or a new one on phone. I’m sure you can find a microphone somewhere in your shack! 😊
